The Panthers have been solid on both sides of the football so far, while St Louis’ offense has started to struggle and the defense has given up a lot in recent weeks.

Michigan head to St Louis looking to record their third consecutive win and improve to 4-1.

The Panthers enjoyed a winning start to the season as they went out on the road to down the Showboats in Memphis, 26-12.

They failed to make it back-to-back wins though, as they were beaten 21-12 by Birmingham in their first home game of the campaign.

Michigan issued an immediate response to that loss in the form of a 26-23 victory over San Antonio at Ford Field.

The Panthers then made it back-to-back home wins with a comfortable 27-9 success against Memphis last time out.

St Louis Battlehawks Form

St Louis return home looking to rebound from back-to-back defeats that have left them with a 2-2 record.

The Battlehawks made a strong start to the season as they recorded a couple of convincing victories to kick things off.

They went out on the road to blow out Houston, 31-6, and then marked their home opener with a 26-9 victory over San Antonio.

St Louis’ winning start came to an end in Week 3 though, as they were beaten 27-15 at home by the DC Defenders.

That became back-to-back defeats for the Battlehawks last weekend, as they lost 30-15 to Arlington on the road.

The post AJ McCarron Era started off well for the St Louis offense, but an improvement in defenses faced has led to a downturn.

Michigan, on the other hand, have only lost to Birmingham so far, so we are backing the Panthers to silence the Dome and leave with the ‘W’.
