San Antonio head to the nation’s capital still seeking their first win of the season, having lost three straight to start 2025.

The Brahmas made it all the way to the big game last year, only to be shutout in a defeat to Birmingham, and they appear to be suffering from some sort of hangover.

The schedule has not been kind to them during the first few weeks, with each of their first four games being played on the road, and with three in the books they are 0-3.

San Antonio were blown out in their season opener by Arlington, 33-9, and fell to a 26-9 defeat when they visited St Louis.

The Battlehawks then lost their third straight games last weekend, as they were beaten 26-23 in Michigan.

DC Defenders Form

DC return home looking to extend their perfect start to the season, which has seen them win three consecutive games.

The Defenders struggled during the UFL’s debut campaign, winning only four times, but they are already just one win away from matching that total in 2025.

They suffered a major setback when they lost their head coach just days before the season-opener, only to rally around their interim coach and stun defending champions Birmingham, 18-11.

DC backed that up a week later as they beat Memphis 17-12 at home, and they were able to make it three-in-a-row last weekend.

The Defenders went out on the road for the first time in 2025, and silenced The Dome as they beat St Louis 27-15.
