Birmingham Stallions Form
Birmingham come into this game in mixed form but with a 4-2 record that has them in a three-way tie in the South Division.
The Stallions opened the season with back-to-back wins, downing New Jersey 27-10 and Memphis 42-2 at home.
The defending USFL champions failed to make it three-in-a-row as they lost 45-31 to New Orleans, but they hit back quickly courtesy of a 24-20 win against Pittsburgh.
Birmingham failed to build on it though, as they fell to a surprise 27-20 defeat at the hands of Houston.
The Stallions did, however, bounced back at the first attempt as they downed Michigan 27-13 on the road last weekend.
New Orleans Breakers Form
New Orleans come into the game with a 4-2 record that has them firmly in the playoff mix, but they have now lost back-to-back games.
The Breakers opened the season with a 22-15 win against Pittsburgh, and built on that when they downed Houston 38-31.
They then recorded their most impressive win of the season in Week 3, beating defending champions Birmingham 45-31.
New Orleans followed that up with a 20-17 success against New Jersey, but they have not won a game since.
The Breakers offense has stalled over the past few weeks, leading to a 17-10 loss to Memphis and a 16-10 defeat to Philadelphia.
Verdict
Until New Orleans’ offense starts firing again they are a tough team to back, so we are backing Birmingham for revenge.
