The Generals began the season with a 27-10 defeat to defending champions Birmingham, only to rebound over the next couple of weeks.

New Jersey’s form has nose-dived over the past three weeks, with a 20-17 loss to New Orleans starting a three-game skid.

The Generals then lost 24-21 to Philadelphia, despite not giving up a single touchdown, before suffering a 16-10 defeat at the hands of Houston.
