Michigan come into this game on the back of a win that snapped a four-game skid and improved them to 3-4.

The Panthers made a strong start to the season as they beat Houston 29-13 and followed that up with a 24-10 upset of Philadelphia.

The wheels came off after that though, as a 28-13 defeat to New Jersey started a four-game losing run.

Michigan went on to lose 29-10 to Memphis, 23-7 to Pittsburgh and 27-13 to Birmingham to fall to 2-4.

The Panthers finally returned to winning ways last weekend though, downing New Jersey 25-22.

New Orleans Breakers Form

New Orleans enter Week 8 in desperate need of a win after losing three straight to fall to 4-3.

The Breakers made a red-hot start to the season as they reeled off four consecutive victories, starting with a 22-15 win against Pittsburgh.

They then downed Houston 38-31, knocked off defending champions Birmingham 45-31, and then beat New Jersey 20-17 to improve to 4-0.

New Orleans’ winning start came to a halt in Week 5 though, with a 17-10 loss to Memphis, and they have not been able to bounce back.

The Breakers then lost 16-10 to Philadelphia, before falling to a 24-20 defeat against Birmingham last weekend.

New Orleans may be in bad form, but they are the better team and are backed to outscore a poor Michigan offense.
