Philadelphia have turned around their season in recent weeks, with a three-game win streak improving their record to 4-3.

The Stars, beaten in last season’s Championship Game, opened with a 27-23 win against Memphis.

Their form quickly collapsed though and they lost their next three games – 24-10 to Michigan, 21-13 to Pittsburgh and 41-16 to Houston.

Philadelphia were able to stop the rot with a 24-21 win against New Jersey, sparking the turnaround.

The Stars made it back-to-back wins with a 16-10 success against New Orleans, and then downed Pittsburgh in a shootout last week, 37-31.

Birmingham Stallions Form

Birmingham come into this game with a one-game lead at the top of the South Division thanks to a 5-2 record.

The Stallions began their defence with back-to-back wins, beating New Jersey 27-10 and Memphis 42-2.

Their form then dipped over the next three weeks as they lost two of their next three games.

Birmingham sandwiched a 24-20 win against Pittsburgh with a 45-31 defeat to New Orleans and 27-20 loss to Houston.

The Stallions have got back on track over the past couple of weeks though, following up a 27-13 win against Michigan with a 24-20 victory over New Orleans.
