Philadelphia have got back on track in recent weeks to improve to 3-3 for the season.

The Stars opened the season with a 27-23 win against Memphis, but that was quickly followed by a three-game losing skid.

They suffered a surprise 24-10 defeat to Michigan in Week 2, and then lost 21-13 to this weekend’s opponents, Pittsburgh.

Philadelphia’s slide continued as they were blown out 41-16 by Houston, but they have managed to steady the ship over the past couple of weeks.

The Stars got back on track with a 24-21 win against New Jersey, and that was followed by a 16-10 victory over New Orleans.

Pittsburgh Maulers Form

Pittsburgh come into this game on the back of their fourth defeat of the regular season so far.

The Maulers opened the season with back-to-back defeats, losing 22-15 to New Orleans and 20-3 to New Jersey.

They finally got off the mark with a 21-13 victory over Philadelphia, but their joy was short-lived as they then lost 24-20 to Birmingham.

Pittsburgh rebounded a week later to beat Michigan 23-7, only to again fail to string together wins.

This time the Maulers suffered their worst defeat of the season so far, getting shut out in a 22-0 defeat to Memphis.
