Utah go into the Pac-12 Championship Game having compiled a 9-3 regular season record.

The Utes opened with a surprise 29-26 defeat at Florida, but rebounded with a four-game win streak.

They blew out Southern Utah 73-7 before beating San Diego State 35-7, and they then won their first two conference games of the season.

Utah won 34-13 at Arizona State and 42-16 at home to Oregon State, before suffering a 42-32 defeat at #18 UCLA.

They bounced back the following weekend with a 43-32 win at #7 USC, and then backed that up with a 21-17 victory at Washington State.

The Utes took their win streak to four games with home wins against Arizona (45-20) and Stanford (42-7), only to see it come to an end with a 20-17 loss at #12 Oregon.

The hit back immediately though, blowing out Colorado 63-21 in the road in their regular season finale.

USC Form

USC are looking to avenge their only regular season defeat when they face Utah in the conference championship.

The Trojans raced out of the blocks to win their first six games of the regular season, starting with a 66-14 rout of Rice.

They then won 41-28 at Stanford in their conference opener, and followed that up with a 45-17 win against Fresno State and a 17-14 victory at Oregon State.

Their streak then hit six games as they beat Arizona State 42-25 and Washington State 30-14 at home.

USC’s run was brought to a halt in mid-October though, as they lost 43-42 at Friday night’s opponents, #20 Utah.

The Trojans have not lost since though, wrapping up the regular season with five consecutive wins.

They win 45-27 at Arizona before returning home to beat California 41-35 and Colorado 55-17.

USC then won 48-45 in a shootout at #16 UCLA, before taking down #13 Notre Dame, 38-27, at home.
