Washington enter this short week having lost back-to-back games to fall to 4-7 for the season.

The Commanders made a promising start as they beat Arizona 20-16 at home and Denver 35-33 on the road.

Their form nose-dived after that though, and they have now won just two of their last nine games.

Washington’s last win came on November 5 when they travelled to Foxborough and beat New England 20-17.

Since then the Commanders have lost 29-26 in Seattle, before returning home for a 31-19 defeat to the New York Giants, who started a little-known backup quarterback.

Dallas come into this Thanksgiving Day game having won four of their last five to improve to 7-3.

The Cowboys raced out of the blocks with back-to-back blowout wins against the two teams from New York.

They stumbled a couple of times after that though, including an embarrassing 42-10 defeat at the hands of long-time rivals, San Francisco.

Dallas rebounded from that loss to the 49ers, beating the Los Angeles Chargers 20-17 and the Los Angeles Rams 43-20.

The Cowboys then bounced back from a 28-23 defeat in Philadelphia by beating New York Giants 49-17 and Carolina 33-10.

Dallas have upped their game in recent weeks, with their only setback coming against an elite team.

Both sides of the football are playing well, so we expect the Cowboys to cover the spread as they claim a Thanksgiving ‘W’.
