Ohio State Form

Ohio State boast a perfect 3-0 record heading into Saturday’s visit of Wisconsin to the Ohio Stadium.

The Buckeyes opened their season with an uninspiring 21-10 victory over #5 Notre Dame that resulted in them dropping from #2 to #3.

They eased past Arkansas State, 45-12, a week later, before blowing out Toledo in a 77-21 victory.

CJ Stroud went 22/27 for 367 yards and five touchdowns as Ohio State took down the Rockets with ease.

Marvin Harrison Jr (102 yards, 2 TDs) and Jayden Ballard (113 yards, 1 TD) both had big days receiving, while Julian Fleming turned two of his three catches into touchdowns.

In the backfield, Dallan Hayden rushed for 108 yards and a score, while Miyan Williams rushed for 77 yards off 10 carries.

Over the Buckeyes’ three games so far, QB Stroud has gone 62/85 for 941 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Harrison Jr has been his favorite target, amassing 342 yards and five TDs off 18 catches, but the Buckeyes will be hoping to have #1 receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba back from injury on Saturday.

They will also hope to have TreVeyon Henderson (197 rushing yards, 3 TDs) available after left the Toledo game early with injury.

In his absence Miyan Williams became the team’s leading rusher, taking his season total to 207 yards and a TD.

While the offense gets the headlines, the Buckeyes’ defense has been solid through three games, allowing just 14.3 points per game.
