Seth Davies won the 2025 WSOP 250K Super High Roller, defeating Alex Foxen heads-up for his first WSOP bracelet and a record $4.75 million prize.

The 2025 World Series of Poker's most expensive event, the WSOP 250K Super High Roller, concluded at the iconic Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas.

Seth Davies, long regarded as one of poker’s most talented players yet to win a WSOP bracelet, finally removed himself from that category by defeating Alex Foxen in an exceptionally brief heads-up showdown during Event #46: $250,000 Super High Roller.

Davies prevailed over a competitive field consisting of 63 entries, resulting in a substantial prize pool of $15,584,625. The final two players secured the bulk of this massive prize pool. Davies’ top prize of $4,752,551 represents his career-best live cash to date.

Millions on the Line

The third and concluding day was marked by notable drama unrelated to the actual poker play. A significant controversy arose regarding the provision of additional time banks for players.

Martin Kabrhel vigorously argued his point with multiple tournament directors, including WSOP Vice President Jack Effel, but his request was ultimately denied, and play resumed.

The initial 90 minutes of gameplay saw minimal significant chip movement, but that changed dramatically once televised coverage began.

Kabrhel narrowly escaped elimination when his ace-king ran into Bryn Kenney’s pocket aces, thanks to a straight on the board that created a split pot.

Chris Brewer became the next casualty, falling to Foxen when his top pair lost to Foxen's rivered full house. Brewer departed the event visibly stunned.

The battle intensified as only four players remained, exchanging chips multiple times before Bryn Kenney faced an unfortunate cooler.

Kenney was eliminated in fourth place after his ace-queen failed to overcome Davies' pocket kings, prompting another short break.

Davies aggressively took control, frequently winning critical pots either by showing down superior hands or successfully bluffing.

Thomas Boivin suffered most significantly during this phase, eventually going all-in with suited Broadway cards but falling victim to Foxen’s dominating ace, finishing third for the second consecutive event.

WSOP 250K Super High Roller: Heads-up

Heads-up play between Davies and Foxen proved extremely brief, lasting merely two hands. In the opening hand, both players held strong aces, but Davies paired his card on the flop, severely crippling Foxen. On the second hand of the heads-up, Foxen was eliminated after Davies' pocket aces overcame Foxen’s turned two pair, concluding the WSOP 250K Super High Roller.
