Stake Poker Is Offering A $1 Million Bad Beat Jackpot Across Cash Tables

Stake Poker has announced the launch of a $1,000,000 Bad Beat Jackpot, applicable to eligible Hold’em and Omaha ring game tables. 

The jackpot is triggered when a strong hand is beaten by an even stronger qualifying hand, under a fixed set of conditions.

To qualify, in Hold’em, the losing hand must be AAAJJ or better. In Omaha, the minimum losing hand is four-of-a-kind twos (2222x) or better. 

The hand must proceed to showdown, and both the winning and losing hands must use two hole cards. Four or more players must be dealt in for the hand to be eligible.

For a hand to trigger the jackpot, specific requirements must be met. Players must use two hole cards to make their qualifying hand, and in the case of a four-of-a-kind, a pocket pair is required.

Additionally, only the first board run is considered if the board is run multiple times. Players not dealt hole cards, or those who leave the table before the hand concludes, are not eligible to receive any portion of the jackpot.

Jackpot payouts are determined by stake-specific prize pools, with each blind level maintaining a separate fund. The total distribution from a triggered jackpot is divided as follows:
