Canadian pro Daniel Negreanu tweeted about the ‘no electronic devices’ rule at the upcoming World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2025.

GGPoker ambassador Daniel Negreanu took to his Twitter handle to talk about the ‘no electronic devices’ rule at the upcoming WSOP 2025 in Las Vegas.

As per media reports, when a tournament reaches its last three tables, no electronic devices will be allowed on the tables. Failure to adhere to this rule could invite severe penalties including disqualification.

When it comes to the feature table or streamed table, players can use their phone only during breaks or after they are eliminated from the game.

The rule further states that players and spectators (including rail) cannot make use of any apps, charts, artificial intelligence, or any other form of electronic assistance/devices that could give a competitive edge.

Many in the circuit believe that this rule came following the WSOP 2024 Main Event heads-up controversy where a laptop was being used at the rail.
