Canadian poker pro Kristen Foxen shipped Event 1 at the 2025 U.S. Poker Open for her fourth career PokerGo title. 

The 2025 U.S. Poker Open began at the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas with Kristen Foxen securing the title in Event #1, a $5,100 No-Limit Hold'em tournament. 

Foxen earned $158,025 for her first-place finish in the two-day event, which drew 129 entries and generated a prize pool of $645,000.

The final table featured seven players, including six Americans and one Canadian — Foxen, who ultimately emerged as the winner. 

Ping Liu, one of the two chip leaders entering Day 2, finished in second place. Foxen’s victory marks her third PokerGO Tour win of the year, adding to an already successful 2025 campaign.

Final Table Action

The tournament resumed on Day 2 with Francis Anderson and Ping Liu leading the chip counts. Foxen followed closely behind, while the remaining four players came in with significantly shorter stacks.
The initial eliminations unfolded as expected based on chip positions. Justin Saliba was the first to exit the final table, finishing in seventh place for $25,800 after being knocked out by Liu.

Foxen remained in contention throughout the final table session and eventually closed out the event. 
The top three chip stacks entering the day — Liu, Anderson, and Foxen — went on to finish in the top three positions. 

The result solidifies Foxen’s position among the leading contenders on the PokerGO Tour leaderboard in 2025.

With this latest result, Foxen's total live tournament earnings have surpassed $9.8 million, according to The Hendon Mob database. 

Her record includes five World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets, multiple deep runs in major events, and consistent performances across high-stakes tournaments.

She finished 13th in the 2024 WSOP Main Event and has established herself as one of the most successful players in recent years. 

The Canadian pro’s PokerGO Tour victories this year have further bolstered her tournament résumé, placing her among the top performers on the global circuit.
