GGPoker Announces Online Satellites for WSOP Circuit Montreal

GGPoker has officially launched online satellite qualifiers for the upcoming WSOP Circuit Montreal, scheduled to take place from August 18 to September 2 at Playground in Montreal. 

The satellite campaign commenced on June 15 for players across Canada, with qualifiers expected to go live in Ontario shortly. These online satellites offer players a chance to enter the WSOPC Montreal Main Event without direct buy-ins. 

Multiple freeroll tournaments will be available on the platform, allowing winners to secure a $2,500 Main Event seat and exclusive GGPoker-branded merchandise.

WSOP Circuit events continue to grow in stature, with over $225 million awarded during the 2024/2025 season. The Montreal stop will be hosted at Playground, a venue located minutes from downtown Montreal, and is expected to draw significant participation from across Canada and beyond.

The festival will feature at least $5 million in total guaranteed prizes, headlined by the WSOP Circuit Montreal Main Event. The Main Event schedule includes three Day 1 flights:

Successful players will move to Day 2 on August 31, followed by the final day on September 1. The Main Event alone will feature a $2.2 million guaranteed prize pool.

The event will also integrate the WSOP+ mobile application, providing improved registration, live updates, and content sharing features throughout the festival.
