Michael Mizrachi won his fourth $50,000 Poker Players Championship title at WSOP 2025, earning $1.33M. Esther Taylor set a new record for the deepest finish by a woman in the event’s history.

Michael Mizrachi secured his record-breaking fourth title in the $50,000 Poker Players Championship (PPC) at the 2025 World Series of Poker.

The event drew 107 entries, producing a prize pool of $5,162,750. Mizrachi, who previously won the event in 2010, 2012, and 2018, took home $1,331,322 and now stands alone with the most PPC titles.

Mizrachi eliminated five of the seven returning players on the final day and dominated the field inside Horseshoe and Paris, Las Vegas.

Bryn Kenney finished runner-up and received $887,542. Another final table contender Esther Taylor finished third for $595,136 and set a new record for the deepest run by a female player in the event. Taylor surpassed the previous best set by Melissa Burr, who finished seventh in 2014.

Record Seventh Bracelet and Hall of Fame Prospects

With this result, Mizrachi now holds seven WSOP bracelets. About his latest win in the PPC event, Mizrachi said, “I probably played better than the last three I won. Everything went my way this tournament. I was always at the top of the leaderboard, never really got short, and probably played my best overall.”

Brian Rast had previously matched Mizrachi with three PPC titles before his induction into the Poker Hall of Fame. Mizrachi acknowledged the accomplishment and expressed hope for his own induction in the future.

Final Day Eliminations

The final day began with high energy. Ben Lamb was eliminated on the first hand after his Stud Hi-Lo low draw missed, allowing Mizrachi to scoop a five million chip pot. Mizrachi then took out Albert Daher in No-Limit Hold’em after Daher failed to recover from a key 2-7 Triple Draw hand against Taylor.

Next, Mizrachi executed a four-high bluff against Joao Vieira in No-Limit Hold’em and followed that up with a Stud flush to cripple the Portuguese pro.

Vieira was eliminated shortly after a hand that saw Mizrachi extend his chip lead significantly.
Mizrachi continued to dominate in Pot-Limit Omaha by eliminating Andrew Yeh, leaving only Esther Taylor and Bryn Kenney to lock horns for the coveted title.

Taylor’s Historic Run and Heads-Up Finish

Taylor entered three-handed play ahead of Kenney, but the latter recovered with a series of double-ups in Stud, Omaha Hi-Lo, and Limit Hold’em.

The deciding hand came in No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw, where Kenney completed a wheel to beat Taylor’s pat-nine, eliminating her in third place.
