  • New update for WSOP Circuit winners
  • WSOP Circuit to follow calendar-year format
WSOP shared an update regarding 2025 WSOP Circuit, including a calendar-year format, and Bahamas ticket prizes.

The World Series of Poker has announced structural changes and released the full remaining schedule for the 2025 WSOP Circuit.

The second half of the season will run from July through December, with 17 domestic stops across the United States and 12 international stops.

A major shift will take place starting in 2026, as the WSOP Circuit transitions to a calendar-year format. Until now, the Circuit season traditionally began at the conclusion of the main summer WSOP and ended before the next edition commenced.

The new structure aligns Circuit events with the full calendar year, allowing for a more streamlined annual schedule.

For the rest of the 2025 season, players will no longer earn entry into the Tournament of Champions by winning a WSOP Circuit ring.

The change follows Kevin Li’s victory in the most recent Tournament of Champions, where he outlasted a 485-player field of 1,169 qualifiers to claim a gold bracelet and $200,000.

In place of that entry, every Circuit ring winner between July 1 and December 2, 2025, will receive a $5,000 non-transferable and non-refundable ‘Ticket To Paradise’.

The package includes a $2,500 live tournament buy-in and hotel accommodations in the Bahamas, where WSOP Paradise is set to return later this year. Details on the Bahamas-based series are expected to be released soon.

According to official WSOP data, the recent 2024–2025 WSOP Circuit season generated over $168 million in total prize pools across 45 stops. The season included 729 tournaments and drew more than 291,000 player entries worldwide.
