WSOP Paradise 2024 Becomes Largest Live Poker Series Outside Las Vegas

The recent World Series of Poker (WSOP) Paradise held in the Bahamas officially became the biggest poker tournament series ever held outside of Las Vegas. 

The World Series of Poker released official numbers across live and online for the Paradise event held in the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas.

This live poker festival not only attracted a large number of players including recreationals but also showcased some impressive statistics that reflects the growing interest in the card game. 

Throughout the event, 15 coveted WSOP gold bracelets were awarded, with each bracelet event featuring prize pools that exceeded $1 million.

The festival drew an impressive 9,494 entries, highlighting the strong interest and participation from players around the globe.

WSOP Paradise 2024 was the first live event outside Las Vegas since its deal with GGPoker. The event had a remarkable impact, awarding a total of $160,756,135 in prize money. Among the participants, 28 players achieved millionaire status through their performances during the series.

One of the standout features of this year’s event was the largest $25,000 buy-in tournament (Super Main Event) in history, which further cements WSOP Paradise's place in poker history.

The success of WSOP Paradise sets a new benchmark for future tournaments and marks an important milestone for the World Series of Poker in a spot outside of Las Vegas.
