Victoria Prentis has been installed as the favourite to be named the next permanent Justice Secretary.

Following Dominic Raab's resignation, Ladbrokes have Prentis priced at 2/1 to take over the role.

Victoria Atkins is considered her main rival at 7/2, with Kemi Badenoch just behind at odds of 4/1.

Elsewhere, Boris Johnson is a 50/1 outsider for the role, with Nadine Dorries a 100/1 shot.

“Victoria Prentis has already seen her odds of replacing Dominic Raab slashed this morning,” Ladbrokes’ Alex Apati told FreeTips.com.

“And while stranger things have happened, it seems highly unlikely Rishi Sunak will turn to Boris Johnson.”
