Sir Keir Starmer just 1/25 in latest Labour leadership odds

Sir Keir Starmer looks almost certain to replace Jeremy Corbyn as leader of the Labour party, with the latest Labour leadership odds making the MP for Holborn and St Pancras just 1/25 with Ladbrokes.

Ladbrokes and other bookmakers have repeatedly cut Sir Keir's odds in their Next Labour Leader betting market in recent weeks, with the former Shadow Brexit Secretary the subject of the vast majority of bets placed in the bookies' Labour Leadership betting markets.

Shortly before cutting Starmer from 1/7, Ladbrokes spokesperson Alex Apati recently told FreeTips.com: "Starmer's odds are continuing to shorten and it looks as though he'll be the one replacing Corbyn as Labour leader."

One-time favourite Rebecca Long-Bailey is out to 16/1 (from 8/1), while Lisa Nandy is now a 33/1 shot in the betting at time of writing.

Another former leadership hopeful, Emily Thornberry, had drifted out to 100/1 to replace Corbyn before recently failing to advance in the leadership contest.
