Keir Starmer’s odds of being replaced as Labour leader this year have been slashed by bookmakers.
Starmer has today pledged to step down as leader of the Party if he is found to have broken COVID-19 rules last year.
Having been a 5/1 shot last weekend, Ladbrokes now make Starmer just 9/4 to be replaced this year.
“Starmer has offered his resignation if he gets fined,” Ladbrokes’ Alex Apati told FreeTips.com.
“The latest odds suggest there's every chance we see a new Labour leader in the coming months.”
Andy Burnham is the 7/2 favourite to take over, with Wes Streeting 7/1 ahead of 8/1 Rachel Reeves.
