Next Mayor of London Betting Odds - Rory Stewart enters at 4/1
Rory Stewart is still a long way behind Sadiq Khan
Rory Stewart is 4/1 with Ladbrokes to become the next Mayor of London
Following his resignation from the Tory party on Friday morning in order to run as an independent candidate next year, the bookies have installed Rory Stewart at 4/1 in the betting market.
Saqiq Khan is odds-on at 4/6 to remain in his post. Liberal Democrat runner Siobhan Benita is fancied at 6/1, with Shaun Bailey at 10/1.
Jessica O'Reilly of Ladbrokes said: "Stewart was a lively candidate in the Tory leadership race and we're already seeing plenty of cash backing his bid to become London Mayor."
