Rishi Sunak’s odds of becoming the next Prime Minister have taken another huge hit.

Sunak was as short as 15/8 with Ladbrokes to replace Boris Johnson as PM last month.

However, his stock has plummeted over the past couple of weeks thanks to controversy over his wife’s tax status and his fine for attending an illegal party during lockdown.

As a result he is now out to 12/1 to be the next Prime Minister, meaning he is now joint sixth in the betting.

“Things are going from bad to worse for Rishi Sunak,” Ladbrokes’ Alex Apati told FreeTips.com.

“It now looks like it'll take nothing short of a miracle to see him replacing Boris Johnson any time soon - having once been such a clear frontrunner in the betting.”
