Rishi Sunak and Jeremy Hunt are leading the race to replace the Liz Truss as Prime Minister, according to Ladbrokes.

Following a disastrous start to her time as PM, Truss is now as short as 1/2 to be replaced in Number 10 before the end of the year.

Sunak leads the way in the battle to replace her at 6/4 with Ladbrokes, with Hunt his main rival at 4/1.

“Rishi Sunak is the unsurprising name leading the way to replace Truss in Number 10,” Ladbrokes’ Alex Apati told FreeTips.com.

“But we’re now keeping a close eye on Jeremy Hunt, who has also seen his odds slashed in the last few days.”

Elsewhere, while a 2022 General Election looks unlikely at 16/1, odds of 3/1 suggest one may well be called next year.
