Odds slashed on Nicola Sturgeon NOT being First Minister by the end of 2021
- Nicola Sturgeon just 2/1 to no longer be First Minister by the end of 2021
- Odds cut as controversy of Alex Salmond's departure from the SNP continues
- Angus Robertson favourite in Next Scottish First Minister odds
Bookmaker Ladbrokes have cut the odds on Nicola Sturgeon NOT being the Scottish First Minister by the end of this year.
Having been a 9/4 shot as recently as this past Saturday, the bookies on Sunday night trimmed the odds to just 2/1 on Sturgeon being replaced before 2021 is out.
The market moves come as the controversial events over Alex Salmond's departure from the SNP continue to pose problems for the FM.
Angus Robertson leads the betting to be the next First Minister at 4/1 at time of writing, ahead of Joanna Cherry and Kate Forbes (both 6/1).
Ladbrokes spokesperson Alex Apati told FreeTips.com: "It's looking increasingly likely Nicola Sturgeon won't be the Scottish First Minister by the time the year is over, if the latest odds are anything to go by."
