Following his 2020 US Election defeat to Joe Biden, there has been much speculation about what is next for President Trump, and reports in the United States suggest he could be considering launching a digital media company.
At time of writing, Trump is still yet to concede following the recent Presidential Election, but the inauguration of Joe Biden will take place on Wednesday, January 20th 2021.
It remains to be seen what is next for Trump, but according to Axios, the outgoing President is keen on setting up a media company and has set his sights on taking viewers away from Fox News.
That has led to oddsmaker Betwinner offering 5/1 (6.0) that Trump announces before December 31st that he plans to launch a Trump-branded TV channel.
Trump is known to be unhappy with Fox as a result of their election coverage (especially their early call of Biden’s win in Arizona), and a source was quoted by Axios as saying: he “plans to wreck Fox.”
The same source claims Trump is considering an online TV channel which “would likely charge a monthly fee to MAGA fans.”
Many Trump supporters are known to be Fox News viewers.
