It’s tight in Georgia ahead of Election Day. The latest Georgia Election odds show there is very little between the Democrats and Republicans, while recent polls have it as neck and neck between Donald Trump and Joe Biden as well.

In fact, a weekend CBS News/YouGov poll showed Biden and Trump tied (49%-49%), and in an average of polls in Georgia last weekend, Biden was just .4 points ahead in the Peach State (47.6%-47.2%).

A win for Biden in Georgia would likely signal a landslide win for the Democratic nominee, and there are several key areas where he has made big gains as of late.

According to CBS News, the former vice president is popular with seniors, wiping out half of Trump’s 2016 advantage in this demographic.

Biden has also been polling well in Georgia – and in several other key states - when it comes to white voters with college degrees.

But despite Biden’s gains, Trump still has strong support across the state. He is still scoring well with white voters without college degrees — both male and female – who appear to still prefer his approach to Biden’s.

Trump won Georgia by 5.1 points in 2016, and white voters without college degrees were vital to him being victorious in this state four years ago. As were white evangelicals, who made up more than a third of the electorate in Georgia in 2016, and continue to support the president in large numbers.

The Biden campaign have good reason to think they can potentially win here. But a Democrat has not won Georgia since 1992, and Trump likely has the numbers on his side to hold on.
