US Presidential Election Democratic Nominee 2020 Prediction, Betting Odds & Tips

The race to become the 2020 Democratic candidate in the next US election has been one of the most interesting in recent history.

After being defeated by Donald Trump in 2016, the Democrats found themselves at a bit of a crossroads. That was reflected through the list of 23 candidates that were initially battling it out for the vote.

The majority of candidates have now dropped out, and although Joe Biden is yet to secure his Democratic nomination, based on recent results and the latest Democratic nominee odds, he looks almost certain to run against Donald Trump in the 2020 US Presidential Election.

And for the first time since 2020 US Election odds became available, President Trump is no longer favourite to secure a second term.

Until recently, Trump has managed to remain market leader in the latest Presidential Election betting, but the coronavirus pandemic has wreaked havoc not only with America's economy, but with the President's re-election odds as well.

Last August, we tipped Biden as the Democratic candidate on this page at odds of around 5/2. Of course, that price has long gone, and at time of writing, the former Vice President is a general 1/25 following win after win over Bernie Sanders and others in recent weeks.

Barring a major shock in the coming weeks, attention will now turn to Biden vs Trump later this year in the race to win the US Election later this year.

US Presidential Election 2020 Tips

Joe Biden has shortened from 8/1, the former Vice President has polled well against Donald Trump, and his name value and association with the Obamas could be enough to help him win over voters.

Coronavirus will continue to dominate the headlines in the coming weeks, as will how President Trump reacts to the pandemic.

Trump's re-election odds appear to be directly connected to the country's economy, and should the situation remain the same throughout the summer, things may look increasingly bleak for the President.
