Donald Trump is beginning to win against Joe Biden as political betting punters come out in favour of the incumbent US president.
As of Tuesday evening the Betting Exchange Betfair which is owned by the Flutter Group reported over $450million in bets on the 2020 US Presidential Market with odds improving for the US president.
Paddypower and bet365 are each accepting larger bets for the US Election still at With Joe Biden at 2/5 and Donald Trump at 2/1. This means you would have to bet £500 to win £200 on a Biden Victory and a bet of £500 would win you £1000 if Trump retained the White House.
Bookmakers have also released this evening in-depth odds that will allow you to place a bet on the total Electoral College Vote for Biden and Trump, as well as state by state betting.
Betting interest in this election has been massive. Betfair on Monday reported the biggest ever political bet being placed, with one punter placing a whopping £1MILLION on Biden to become President.
The individual staked £1,000,000 on Biden winning the US Election at odds of 1.54. If successful, he or she will receive returns of £1.54m.
Betfair spokesman Sam Rosbottom said: "The (£1m) bet is the biggest political bet of all time on the Betfair Exchange and returns a handsome £1,540,000 if Biden wins the keys to the White House.
"The 2016 US election's record for being the biggest single betting event of all time was broken by last week and the £271m bet on the 2020 election means it remains on-course to hit £400m."
