Labor are the bookmakers' favourites in the latest Australian Federal Election odds as Australia prepares to go to the polls in May.

The 2022 Australian Federal Election is scheduled to take place on Saturday May 21st, 2022. On this page we have the latest Australian Election odds and betting markets ahead of polling day.

Labour are odds-on favourites to be the Winning Party at time of writing, with Paddy Power a best priced 10/11, while it is 6/4 that Labor win with a Majority at William Hill. A Coalition majority can be backed at 12/5 with the same firm.

If Labor were to win the election, this would be the first time they have led the country since Julia Gillard served as Prime Minister from 2010-2013.

Current PM Scott Morrison will be challenged by Anthony Albanese, who is running in his first election as the opposition leader.

The Liberal-National Coalition currently hold 36 seats in the senate, while Labor have 26 seats, 11 being the margin that they need to make up to return to government.

There are 14 seats currently taken on the crossbench from Australian Greens (nine), Centre Alliance (one), One Nation (two), Jacqui Lambie (one) and Independants (one).

As for the House of Representatives, the Coalition hold 76 seats and Labor hold 68 seats, with a nine seat swing the amount needed for Labor to win.
