Peta Hiku returns from suspension and takes the place of the injured Gehamat Shibasaki. Murray Taulagi is also injured, his spot on the wing taken by Brendon Elliot.

In the forwards Jeremiah Nanai has been suspended for two weeks following a dangerous throw, Heilum Luki takes the edge starting spot. 

James Tamou has also succumbed to injury with NRL debutant Riley Price (son of QLD great Steve Price) is named on the bench together with Mitch Dunn.

Verdict

A lot of disruption with injury and suspension for the Cowboys should ensure this game is kept close. The Bulldogs are starting to find some attacking form and if both teams can roughly hit their season averages we should be laughing all the way to the bank.
