The Bulldogs produced another no show last week as they lost 66-0 to a rampant Manly Sea Eagles side.

It was a 13th defeat of the season and sent Trent Barrett's side back to the bottom of the ladder after wooden spoon rivals Brisbane Broncos won.

The Bulldogs have failed to score more than six points in three of their last four matches and have scored an average of just 11.46 points per game all season.

Canterbury are strengthened by the return of four of their five players who were forced into self isolation.

Dylan Napa, Corey Waddell, Sione Katoa and Aaron Schoupp are all back, with Brandon Wakeham still missing from the Bulldogs side.

Napa and Katoa come in for suspended duo Jeremy Marshall-King and Ava Seumanufagai.

Schoupp starts in centres in place of Falakiko Manu and Waddell lines up in the second row.

Joe Stimson comes into the run on side this week, with Jackson Topine dropping to the reserves and Matt Doorey out due to a head knock.

Sydney Roosters Form


Like the Bulldogs, the Roosters were kept pointless last week as they were handed a 46-0 thumping by ladder leaders Melbourne Storm.

It took the Roosters to 9-6 for the season and down to sixth spot on the ladder.

Trent Robinson's side get the chance to halt a two-game losing run having also been beaten by 38-12 by second placed Penrith Panthers in their last two matches.

The Roosters lose James Tedesco and Angus Crichton to State of Origin duties.

Joseph Manu starts at full-back in place of Tedesco with Isaac Liu switching into the second row to cover the loss of Crichton. 

Liu's place at lock is taken by Victor Radley, who is available again after suspension.

Another returnee is centre Billy Smith, who makes his first start since 2019 after a long knee injury layoff.

Nat Butcher and Ben Thomas are added to the bench in place of Fletcher Baker, who is in isolation, and the suspended Daniel Suluka-Fifita.
