Head to Head

Manly have dominated Cronulla in recent times, winning 11 of the last 13 clashes since the start of the 2013 season.

The Sharks did win the only meeting last year when recording a 40-22 victory over Manly to break a four-game losing streak.

Cronulla Sharks Form

The Sharks have traded wins and losses across the last five games, but remain very much in the finals race in seventh spot.

Cronulla were 44-24 winners against bottom side Canterbury Bulldogs last weekend. They did take their foot off the gas late on having been dominant in the game.

It was a welcome win having lost two of the previous three games to Brisbane Broncos and Canberra Raiders.

Sandwiched in between those defeats was a hard-fought win over New Zealand Warriors.

Calf injury victim Matt Moylan will play no part despite being listed among the reserves and initially mentioned as a possible late inclusion.

Manly Sea Eagles Form

A top four finish is still within Manly's grasp and would be a remarkable achievement after losing the opening four games of the season heavily.

With five wins in the last six games, Des Hasler's side have momentum.

Manly lost 30-16 to Canberra Raiders three games back, but have reacted in the best possible way.

They defeated St George Illawarra Dragons 32-18 before thumping the Wests Tigers 44-24 last weekend.
