Brisbane fell to their seventh loss in eight games, going down heavily to the Canterbury Bulldogs 41-16. The Broncos were down 16-0 by the 24th minute and despite their efforts on either side of halftime to muster a comeback, they were never really in it.

With territory being fairly even it was run metres and linebreaks that hurt the Broncos, allowing the Bulldogs to break their line nine times in the match with Connor Tracey causing all sorts of problems, scoring three tries with three try assists and three linebreak assists.

Brisbane have conceded 30+ points in three of their past five matches and with poor connections in their backline through constant injury their season is on a thread.
