Jaimin Joliffe and Reagan Campbell-Gillard are the two front rowers with Klese Haas slotting in at lock.

AJ Brimson starts at fullback with injuries to De Groot and Kini while the injuries continue in the backline with Jojo Fifita still out.

Sam Verrills is named in the reserves but Sean Mullany is named to start in the hooking role. Josh Patston will make his NRL debut off the pine with Tukimihia Simpkins back in the NRL for the first time since 2021.

Manly had it in the bag last week against the Knights but allowed their opponent to score 5 tries to 1 in the second half to steal defeat from the jaws of victory.

It is difficult to know whether to take anything out of the performance or if it was just a product of the situation. The only problem is these situations are starting to occur on a more regular basis for the Sea Eagles with their consistency not lasting for a full 80 minutes.

With Daly Cherry-Evans being left out of Origin he will suit up for the Sea Eagles in this clash. Tom Trbojevic also returns from a few weeks on the sidelines with injury, he is a straight swap for Lehi Hopoate who is out with concussion.

Jason Saab replaces Clayton Faulalo and Siua Taukeiaho is back in the starting front row. Jazz Tevaga reverts to the bench and Tof Sipley to the reserves.
