Melbourne Storm Form


Storm took a step closer to the minor premiership when thumping second placed Penrith Panthers 37-10 in a top of the ladder clash last week.

Craig Bellamy's side defeated the Panthers in the Grand Final last year, and were hugely dominant at Suncorp Stadium in the game of Round 20.

It made it 16 wins in a row since losing to Penrith back in March. 

Melbourne have scored 37 or more points in five of their last six wins, and are averaging 36.2 points per game this season.

Kenny Bromwich failed to overcome a head injury last week, but has been named to start this week. He will need a late decision to take his place.

Jahrome Hughes has been named despite struggling with a calf injury, while Tom Eisenhuth returns to the bench after an elbow injury. 

There is no Felise Kaufusi as he serves a one-game suspension, with Chris Lewis taking his place in the forwards.

Nicho Hynes continues to retain the full-back role with Ryan Papenhuyzen on the bench. Harry Grant is also on the interchange with Brandon Smith holding onto his starting role.
