Earlier this season, the Sea Eagles handed out a 40-6 thumping to Wests in Round 7.

Manly Sea Eagles Form

Manly bounced back from a defeat by defeating St George Illawarra Dragons 32-18 last week despite missing several big names.

It was a welcome win for Des Hasler's side, who had gone down 30-16 to the Canberra Raiders the previous week when once again without star full-back Tom Trbojevic.

Manly are still on the shirttails of the top four having won three in a row prior to losing to the Raiders.

They beat North Queensland Cowboys, Gold Coast Titans and Canterbury Bulldogs, scoring 50 or more points in each of them.

Manly Sea Eagles Team News

Rampant Manly are strengthened by the return of Origin stars Tom Trbojevic and Daly Cherry-Evans. Both were rested last week.

Jake Trbojevic and Josh Aloiai have both been named to return from injury layoffs.

Toafofoa Sipley started last week but is back on the bench for this game with Taniela Paseka starting.

The win lifted the Tigers to 12th place on the ladder, two wins adrift of the finals spots.

In a tough run of fixtures, Wests lost to Parramatta Eels, Melbourne Storm and South Sydney Rabbitohs.
