The Raiders on the other hand are looking hot and are tipped to be too strong and experienced on the road. I am backing them to cover the spread and for Hudson Young to cross for his fourth try in as many games against Newcastle.

Canberra are 5th in the league in points scored when Strength of Schedule is factored in. Newcastle are 12th.

Newcastle Knights v Canberra Raiders

Canberra should be too strong up front for the Knights, who are still struggling with injuries to their key players.

I expect there to be some tough defence early before the game opens up for a few first half tries. The Raiders will then just look to keep a lid on things and ride out the victory. Raiders -4.5 and Hudson Young to score.
