Melbourne Storm and Penrith Panthers clash in the 2024 NRL Grand Final on Sunday October 6 with bookmakers unable to split the pair.

The Panthers are looking to win a historic four premierships in a row, while the Storm are aiming for their first Grand Final triumph since 2020.

NRL Grand Final Form & Stats

The Panthers weren't firing on all cylinders heading into the finals series, but with the return of star halfback Nathan Cleary, they quickly returned to top form.

Penrith eased past the Roosters by a 30-10 score to secure their spot in the preliminary finals before cruising past the Sharks 26-6.

Ivan Cleary's side have won both finals matches by exactly 20 points and have given themselves an opportunity to create more history by winning four Grand Finals in a row.

The Storm were the last team to win an NRL Grand Final before Penrith's current dynasty, beating the Panthers 26-20 back in 2020.

Craig Bellamy's side finished four points clear at the top of the table over Penrith to secure another minor premiership and have continued to dominate in the finals.

Melbourne crushed the Sharks 37-10 in the opening week of the finals and went on to demolish the Roosters by 30 points, prevailing 48-18.

Jahrome Hughes is almost a lock for the Dally M Medal and his halfback battle with Cleary could potentially decide the Grand Final.

The Storm won both meetings with the Panthers in 2024, emerging 8-0 victors in Round 1 and 24-22 winners in Round 24.
