New Zealand Warriors Form

The Warriors have been inconsistent with their form thus far in 2021. They opened the season with a sensational 19-6 win over the much hyped Gold Coast Titans.

New Zealand then had a narrow loss to the Newcastle Knights before producing an unbelievable comeback to down the Canberra Raiders 34-31.

The Warriors then lost to the Sydney Roosters by 20 points, and went down to Manly by a point in Round 5.

They bounced back with a 20-14 win over the red-hot St George Illawarra Dragons, but were belted by the Melbourne Storm 42-20 last weekend.

North Queensland Cowboys Form

The Cowboys had an atrocious start to the season, losing four straight games. Three of them were by considerable margins as they lost to Penrith Panthers 24-0, St George Illawarra Dragons 25-18, Gold Coast Titans 44-8 and the Cronulla Sharks 48-10.

Since then, the Cowboys have reeled off three wins in a row. They have beaten the Wests Tigers 34-30, Canterbury Bulldogs 30-18 and Canberra Raiders 26-24.

Defensively, the Cowboys are still very poor but their attack has improved immeasurably.
