Parramatta Eels vs Dolphins Preview

In a battle of the bottom, Parramatta can leapfrog the Dolphins with their third win of the season. With poor defences on both sides, I'm expecting a high-scoring matchup.

Parramatta put in another good performance but it wasn’t enough to get past the Sharks in Magic Round, going down 28-18. The Cronulla defence proved why they are the second-best team in the comp defensively, starving the Eels of too many scoring chances.

Despite the loss, the Eels still looked like an improved outfit with Mitch Moses in the squad, especially in attack and they will continue to lift themselves from the bottom of the ladder if they follow the same trajectory.

Moses once again was the centre of the attack for the Eels, recording a try assist and two linebreaks, while his halves partner Dylan Brown had a try and a linebreak assist.

Dolphins Form

The Dolphins internally combusted in defence against the Roosters, just as they did against the Raiders in the second half the week prior.
