The 2021 State of Origin series is over with New South Wales holding an unassailable 2-0 lead ahead of Wednesday's Game 3 at Cbus Super Stadium.

The Blues do have a series whitewash in their sites and the NSW attacking weapons feature in our selections for the opening try of the game.

Tom Trbojevic got the opening try in Game 1 as New South Wales won 50-6 in Townsville, and went on to score three in total. Team-mate Josh Addo-Carr crossed first in Game 2 in a 26-0 win in Brisbane.

NSW winger To'o got two tries in the opening game in Townsville to make the dream debut in Origin footy.

The Penrith Panthers flyer missed out in Game 2 in Brisbane, but still had a significant role in the Blues' series clinching wing.

Expect him to see more of the ball in Gold Coast, where is could well be the one to get the opening try of the game.

Josh Addo-Carr

Melbourne Storm wing Addo-Carr got the first and last tries in Game 2 to help New South Wales regain the Origin shield.

He had missed out in a nine-try Blues performance in the opening game, but made amends by setting NSW on their way to victory in Brisbane.

With 10 tries in 11 Origin appearances, Queensland need know lessons on just how dangerous Addo-Carr can be.

Trbojevic continues to be one of the NRL's most in-form tryscorers and has to be in the reckoning to get the opening try at Suncorp Stadium.

Turbo scored the first try of Game 1 in Townsville and crossed the line three times in total to help New South Wales to a 44-point victory.

The Manly Sea Eagles full-back, who is playing in the centres for New South Wales, got another try in Game 2 to take his tally to 12 tries in just nine games of State Of Origin.
