The Roosters were brought down to earth with a 26-16 defeat to the Rabbitohs last week. Tedesco scored again with Brett Morris and Josh Morris crossing the line, but it was too little too late after trailing 24-0.

The Roosters suffered a huge blow with star playmaker Luke Keary (knee) ruled out for the season after rupturing his ACL. 

Lachlan Lam (knee) is out until round 9 with Sam Walker and Drew Hutchison starting in the halves.

Daniel Suluka-Fifita (suspension) is out for a week alongside Lindsay Collins (concussion). Isaac Liu moves from lock to prop

Jake Friend and Boyd Cordner remain out indefinitely due to concussion.

Victor Radley makes his return from shoulder and knee injuries. Matt Ikuvalu and Nat Butcher are the new faces on the interchange bench.

New Zealand Warriors Form


New Zealand started their season with a tough 19-6 win against the Gold Coast Titans. They completed 91% of their sets and made just six errors.

Nathan Brown’s side then suffered a 20-16 defeat against Newcastle after conceding a late try. 

The Warriors produced an upset 34-31 win in Canberra last week. They took advantage of a Raiders side that were decimated by injury, overturning a 25-6 half time deficit.
