Penrith Panthers Form


Penrith won their opening 12 games of the season. They were without most of their top players before and after the Origin I when they suffered a 26-6 defeat against West Tigers and a 19-18 loss against Cronulla.

Ivan Cleary’s side returned home and beat Sydney Roosters 38-12. They were dominant after trailing 12-0, completing 80% of their sets and scoring six unanswered tries.

The Panthers won 13-12 against Parramatta in their last game. It was a big effort with many key players missing once again.

Dylan Edwards (foot) returns at fullback with Charlie Staines moving to the wing and Brent Naden to the centres.

Tyrone May and Matt Burton will play in the halves with Nathan Cleary (shoulder) and Jarome Luai (knee) out for two more weeks. 

Brian To'o, Isaah Yeo, Kurt Capewell and Liam Martin have all been named to back up from Origin III.
