Wests Tigers Form

The Tigers have had a rather rough start to the season, having played against four of last year's finalists in the opening four rounds.

They went down to Canberra Raiders 30-12, a side they’ve struggled to contain in recent years, then were thumped 40-6 by the Sydney Roosters, a side they have an historically woeful record against.

Wests then produced a 24-20 victory over the Knights in Newcastle and followed it up with another spirited display against Parramatta Eels last weekend although they lost again 36-22.

Wests Tigers Team News

The Tigers have just two injured players at present – Billy Walters, who is due back in the next three weeks, and Shawn Blore, who is likely to return within the next three weeks.

Asu Kepaoa has been dropped from the squad this weekend. His place on the wing will be filled by Tommy Talau, who will move from centre. Moses Mbye has been promoted to the run-on side and will slot in at the vacant centre position. Michael Chee Kam joins the bench.

In Round 3 they were thumped 44-8 by a much improved Gold Coast Titans side, while last weekend Cronulla Sharks went on a point scoring blitz just before halftime to rack up a 48-10 victory.
