State of Origin Game 3 is a series decider and calls for some serious efforts on all sides. Who will be man of the match in Queensland vs New South Wales?

Daly Cherry-Evans picked up the Man of the Match honours in Game 1 on the back of a monstrous effort leading the Maroons to victory. Cherry Evans had 2 try assists together with 112 metres from 7 runs, a line break assist and an often understated metric of 442 kicking metres. A worthy winner of the best on field title.

In Game 2 it was Blues halfback Mitch Moses who returned to the Origin arena with gusto putting on 4 Try Assists, 24 Tackles and 444 Kick Metres for his team as they routed the Maroons. Moses was the catalyst in the NSW attack pressing the line with his dynamic playing style and keeping the QLD defence second guessing.

It will need to be another Cherry-Evans masterclass at Suncorp if the Maroons are to prevail in winning the game and the series.

The Queensland halfback was restricted to only 9 Run Metres in game 2 coming off his Man of the Match performance in Game 1. If he is to overcome the hurdles in front of him not only on a personal level but for the team he will be in the box seat to wrap up his 2nd MOM title in this series and also take out the Wally Lewis Award for Player of the Series.

New South Wales - Angus Crichton

Angus Crichton was at his unstoppable best in Game 2 and also had a respectable performance in Game 1. In the first game of the series the backrower ran for 144 Metres, the second most of any forward in the Blues team while also making 21 tackles.

In the Game 2 victory Crichton had 18 Runs for 174 Metres 74 of those metres Post Contact, 9 Tackle Breaks, 2 Offloads as well as 20 Tackles. He was also the only forward to play for the whole 80 minutes and it is safe to say the biggest impact he had can not be measured on the stats sheet, his pure determination in every run and hit visibly lifted the team to another level.

With Game 3 expected to be a tight finish, a player like Angus Crichton could be the difference with his grit and determination.
