England host a severely weakened France in the Autumn Nations Cup final at Twickenham on Sunday. Fans will be returning to Twickenham for the first time this weekend and they should be there to witness a comfortable England win.

England are in stellar form having won the 2020 Six Nations and look set to claim the Autumn Nations Cup title as well.

Since their 24-17 defeat to France on the opening weekend of the Six Nations, England have not lost. They are seven matches unbeaten, all of which have been reasonably comfortable.

France have been brilliant in 2020 and finished the Six Nations as runners-up to England on points difference. The only defeat France faced during the competition came against Scotland at Murrayfield.

The French have been solid in the Autumn Nations Cup too, winning both their matches in the group stage. Their encounter against Fiji was called off due to COVID-19 infections.

Last week a largely weakened French side smashed Italy 36-5 at the Stade de France. France beat England in the opening Six Nations match this year but none of the players who featured for France in that match will play in this one.

With French clubs limiting their players to only three internationals over the Autumn period, France have to field a line-up with minimal experience against England.
