England will be looking for their seventh consecutive victory when they visit the Parc Y Scarlets to face Wales in the Autumn Nations Cup on Saturday. Playing Wales at home has not always proven the easiest task for the English, and while they should win, the 15 point handicap looks promising for the hosts.

Wales brought their six-match losing streak to an end last weekend when they beat Georgia 18-0 at home.

Head coach Wayne Pivac picked a largely weakened side but it was a comfortable outing for the Welsh. That came after Wales lost 32-9 to Ireland in the Autumn Nations Cup opener.

Wales have not enjoyed 2020 after finishing fifth in the 2020 Six Nations with only one victory – against Italy. But the Welsh do tend to pick themselves up for matches against England, especially at home.

England look well on their way to topping their group in the Autumn Nations Cup after winning their opening two matches. They are currently on a six-match winning streak after claiming the 2020 Six Nations title.

England lost to France 24-17 on the opening weekend of the Six Nations but have since been unbeaten. In that run they have beaten Scotland, Ireland twice, Italy, Wales and Georgia.

The 40-0 win over Georgia on the opening weekend of the Autumn Nations Cup was no surprise, but England backed it up with an 18-7 victory over Ireland at Twickenham last week.

England have no reported injury concerns however it is expected that George Ford will be recalled to start at fly-half.
