The British & Irish Lions tour of South Africa is fast coming to a close. After dominating against provincial opposition, the tourists won the first Test 22-17 in Cape Town. They came back from a 12-3 deficit at half time.
The week leading up to the 2nd Test (also in Cape Town) was marred with controversy. The Springboks were very unhappy with the refereeing in the 1st Test which led to Director of Rugby, Rassie Erasmus creating a Twitter video showing all the refereeing errors.
Much was expected of the 2nd Test with both sides fired up. The British & Irish Lions led 9-6 at the break but South Africa came out fighting to win 27-9 by the final whistle.
With the series level, the 3rd Test should be a humdinger. It will also be played in Cape Town after all matches were moved to the city.
