The Stormers are not in the kind of form we’ve seen in the last three seasons, but they are still a good side, particularly at home. However, they do come into this fixture having lost their last two games and three of their last four, all in the URC.
Last week, the Stormers put up a good fight in Durban, losing 21-15 to the Sharks, however, the visitors missed some glorious opportunities to score towards the end. The game prior, John Dobson’s side lost 28-17 at home in what was a poor performance.

Stormers have not had a good season to date and will need to get some confidence. Another home defeat will not be ideal, so expect Dobson to pick his strongest available side.
Toulon Form
Toulon are enjoying a decent season in the Top 14 with three wins in their last three games. Since losing 57-5 at Toulouse, the former European champions have stepped up their game.
At the start of November, Toulon beat Lyon 21-10 at home before seeing off Bayonne 39-19, also at home. Last weekend, Toulon won 22-13 away against Perpignan.

Toulon will not be at full strength given their focus will be on the Top 14. They will also mostly target home games in European competitions to get the required points to advance.
